Summary
With the advent of the aging era and the development of the severe special infectious pneumonia (COVID-19) epidemic, respiratory health has become a global concern. Furthermore, sleep-disordered breathing is also closely related to metabolic diseases and cognitive function. This sub-project intends to integrate the mobile big data collected from wearable devices and home internet of things, and apply artificial intelligence (AI) to provide early warning of sleep-disordered breathing, metabolic diseases and neurocognitive degeneration complications, and construct deep learning models that uses heart rate variability to analyze their doctor's order compliance and health behaviors. To develop a multi-oriented improving strategies care platform of sleep-disordered breathing and related complications. Finally, connecting medical fields at all levels, such as hospitals and communities, to promote the medical care platform for sleep-disordered breathing health and complications.
Advantages
Combining mobile devices such as wearables and novel sensors with data analysis by deep learning algorithms and interactive social apps in medical and healthcare practices, we can establish a respiratory health care platform connecting hospitals and communities, not only allows patients to early detection of respiratory-related problems during hospitalization, it maintains the same quality of care at home or across medical institutions, and a standardized evaluation for treatment improvement strategies.
Applications
1. Real zero-contact respiratory physiology monitoring system
2. An integrated care platform linking hospital institutions and community/homes
3. Objective stress assessment system
Keywords
Sleep apnea, health big data, metabolic syndrome (MetS), neurodegenerative diseases, medical care platform
