The 2023 Future Technology Award Winners Announced!

Congratulations to Dr. Wang Zongdao's research team participate in the research project "24-Hour Day-Night Blood Pressure Estimation System for Smartwatches," which has won the 2023 Future Technology Award!

The "Future Technology Award" is now in its 7th year, recognizing outstanding research outcomes funded by the National Science Council, Academia Sinica, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Among over 500 submissions this year, these groundbreaking technologies were divided into seven major categories: "Green Energy and Environmental Protection," "AIoT Smart Applications," "Electronics and Optoelectronics," "Chemicals and Materials," "Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals," "Medical Devices," and "Humanities, Sports, and Technological Arts." After rigorous initial and secondary reviews, 80 key technologies were selected.

Continuing to uphold the evaluation criteria of "Scientific Breakthrough" and "Industrial Applicability," this year's award-winning technologies demonstrate both innovation and potential for future development, whether in terms of technological advancement or business value, and some have the potential to expand into international markets. In the future, the award program will also leverage the benefits of exhibitions to facilitate technical exchange between academia and industry, fostering collaboration between domestic and international stakeholders.
